worked long hot summer days in the warehouse district, moving containers and
cases that would feed the city. He loved the city but was swayed by the tales
told by the big rig drivers. He dreamed of owning a big rig someday and
traveling the unending ribbons of payment that tied America together. Then
returning with his tales of the road to tell.
